Your turn

Its strange to have this reversal of roles, that from a child under care to one providing care. Now I am the one bringing my father to the doctor, researching on the internet what could possibly be behind his pain, and taking leave from work to look after him.

His symptoms: An excruciating pain (believe me, it must be hell for a grown man like him to wince and crouch over like that) in his forearm that comes and goes in spurts. Other than that all is well. History of slight osteoathritis but that has been dormant for some time now.

Diagnosis isn't known, the GPs are stumped and we shall be consulting the orthopedic surgeon today. I should hope a series of tests and radiological investigations will shed some light. No need to worry, the GP says.
