back to the old problem of getting my piorities in check. something scary happened today. okay not scary as in supernatural-scary.

so during the pbl, i was rushing off to go for kickboxing, and kinda hurried the rest into speeding up with the questions so i could leave. anyway i left the class with like 10% of my paper completed cos i was thinking, i'm late! and the answers are going to be up anyway.

anyway i went to look at the model answers to copy them down just now and there was a question, "what is the problem with these toes?", referring to a picture of someone's foot we were shown in class. my answer was, "open sores."
the correct answer was, "they have been amputated because of infections."
somehow at that moment i was quite shocked. i completely missed the fact that the toes on the foot were amputated!! i must have been so caught up in wanting to get out of the class as soon as i could that i didn't even realise the foot i was looking at had no toes? i tried to think about the picture again but it wouldn't come back.

and it just struck me, how very frivolous i can be. missing the woods for the trees. AGAIN! i never learn do i.
